Delivery Driver
We are Looking for drivers 21 and over to work mainly weekends, you will be working as a team delivering and setting up bouncy castles, Hot tubs, Events and other hire items. We pay a negotiable hourly rate; a typical shift will be from 6-16 hours. We deliver to Telford, Shropshire and all surrounding areas.
*This job involves*
- Organizing and keeping the warehouse & yard clean and tidy.
- Maintaining and cleaning the hire items.
- Loading and unloading vans.
- Delivering, setting up and packing away the hire equipment.
- Keeping the vans clean and tidy.
- Some hire items may require supervising (full training will be given)
- The Job is mainly Thursday - Monday. (Depending on demand there will be additional work on other days).
*Daily responsibilities *
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Accepting payments for delivered items.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.

- To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- The ability to work as a team.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- The ability to accept constructive criticism
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Valid UK driver's license.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
Due to the nature of this role, physical strength is a must!
Job Type: Part-time / Full -time - Mainly weekends!!!
Pay: £300.00-£1000.00 weekly (depending on hours worked - hourly pay rate negotiable)
